Launceston Place

A small garden in Kensington, London W8: in conjunction with extensive renovation works to the house.  The levels at the rear were reduced by over 1 metre providing us with the opportunity to make a garden on two levels; almost a vertical garden, tiers of flowers and leaf.  The front garden by contrast, was sunny and open.  Here we created a riot of colour using valerian (Centranthus ruber), wall daisies (Erigeron karvinskianus) and wove clematis, honeysuckle and star jasmine through the railings.  Winner,  ‘Best Front Garden’
