Tredegar Square

A long thin garden in Mile End, East London: in conjunction with extensive building restoration works. To create a sense of mystery, we made the paved area at the back of the house into a ‘room’ with a narrow view of the second half of the garden. The second part of the garden is leafy with a circular metal bower which frames views of the sky. And at the back a studio and gravel terrace. We also put in a new metal staircase and planted it with Wisteria. Happily, clients are keen gardeners and have filled it with pots
