My Style "…uncluttered and contemporary…" "...good structure with generous planting…"  "...versatile with great attention to  detail…"  these are a few comments others have written about my work. I like gardens where nature is seen to have the advantage. My gardens have a handmade quality which sets them apart from those uncomfortable, hard-edged outdoor spaces computer designs often produce. Wherever  possible, I source materials, plants and skills locally so that the garden really is a part of its landscape,and a product of it too. I feel strongly that the gardens I design should be easy to make and maintain.  And I believe that the process - the weaving together of all the different trades that combine to make a garden or landscape - is equally important; a well planned project gets done well and on time.
