Mark Lutyens designed a five-year plan to develop a garden in what had been five separate plots of land. He listened carefully to what we wanted and took into account our budget and requirement for a manageable garden. He designed a garden with efficiency and style and showed a thorough mastery of the practicalities. We started with a few totally untouched paddocks in most beautiful Hampshire countryside. Thanks to Mark Lutyens we now have a house that sits within these paddocks as if it has been there for centuries.
The best thing that happened to us was that we got introduced to Mark early on in the project. Due to his expertise and outstanding eye for beauty & proportions we have a seamless flow throughout, from the drive down into the courtyard, through the house onto the terraces, the garden & pool and into the wider area beyond a lovely ha-ha.
